Suffering and pain for My slaves don't have to come at the end of My whip. There are many other ways to make a slave suffer, for example by using things one really likes or hates. This slave loathes eating raw onions, he would trade it for many other, truly painful things. But I want to see him to eat an onion now. I know he would never dream of saying "no" to Me, still I will make him really want to eat this onion: if he doesn't eat it – he will not have his monthly release. So can he overcome this pungent obstacle on the way to his release, or will he stay locked in chastity for another month before getting another chance? It's up to him.
